When you’re depressed your self esteem is at absolute zero. To stand up from the sofa and walk to the fridge is an act of unbelievable effort. Everything that happens is because you are a cunt. It’s because I’m a wanker, it’s because I’m an arsehole- you sort of have a tourettes view of yourself. You think about death all the time. Even if you’re not feeling suicidal, you’re just constantly aware of death and aware of your own death and how welcome it would be.
